Position Title: Event Childcare Supervisor
Team: Kid’s Team
Reports to: Lead Children’s Pastor
Part Time: 28 Hours per week
Position Summary:
Responsible for all aspects of Event Childcare; including but not limited to classroom staffing, classroom lessons and craft preparation, supervising events, recruiting volunteers.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit weekly volunteers for on-going events
- Schedule volunteers for weekly events
- Plan and prepare lessons and crafts for the ministry year
- Prepare classrooms for events
- Communicate with ministry leaders to set up the childcare plan for their event/s
- Be present at all childcare events for supervision and direction
- Clean and reset rooms after events so they are ready for weekend ministry
- Handle all room reservations for events

Physical Requirements:This position is semi-active work, with occasional lifting, pushing and pulling and carrying objects or children weighing up to 30 pounds. Talking, hearing, and seeing is required with occasional stooping, crouching and reaching. Position requires approximately 80% standing or walking and 20% sitting.
