Position Title: Weekend Co-Producer (Job-Sharing) Campus: Mesa
Reports To: Programming Pastor Status: Part-Time – 10 hrs/week; every two weeks
Position Summary: The Weekend Co-Producer is the Creative Arts point person to lead and instruct teams in the weekend services at the Mesa campus. They are responsible for creating a culture where everyone (Teachers, Campus Pastors, Hosts, Worship Team, & Production Team) feels valued, informed, and supported in the weekend services. This person executes the weekend services through technology and production and supports their campus. This position is a job-sharing position and will operate on an every two weeks rotation (two weeks on/two weeks off).
This position is connected to the faith and ministry of the church and moves forward the vision of Central Christian Church.
Responsibilities:
Ø Manage, maintain, and schedule Production Volunteers for weekend services
Ø Recruit & train volunteers for all positions (Graphics Operator, Lighting Operator, Producer, Stage Manager, Camera Operator, Director, and other positions as needed)
Ø Partner with Production in training volunteers on production equipment
Ø Participate in weekly weekend handoff meetings, team meetings, and every other month one-on-ones with the Programming Pastor
Ø Monitor/Tidy band and production green room after services
Ø Support the service created by the Creative Arts Team by making decisions and troubleshooting problems that may arise
Ø Communicate with Co-Producer to ensure tasks are completed and efforts are not duplicated
Ø Support worship center events and mid-week tier one ministry events, when available
Ø Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
Ø Must have hands-on experience with technology in a modern worship and production environment
Ø Formal training in audio and/or technical production of some kind preferred
Ø Leadership skills: possess the capacity to teach, coach, and effectively encourage those involved in the weekend services or those seeking to be involved. Must be able to support the service and make decisions to do so. Must be able to calmly troubleshoot issues as they arise and lead volunteers through problems that may arise in the middle of service
Ø Communication skills: Communicate effectively and efficiently with multiple parties (Programming Pastor, Production Staff, Production Volunteers, Audio Engineers, Campus Pastors, Hosts, Worship Staff, Worship Volunteers, First Impressions, etc.)

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
